I hardly fly fish for bass any more.  But then why would I need to with some of the best trout fishing in the world right here in Colorado.

He was quite upfront about his technique - #16-18 Pheasant Tail matching the nymphs he was shuffling up. I did some web searches and came up with San Juan Shuffle, Colorado skip, Montana drag.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I no doubt was not having a great day fishing; After two days of rain the water was as high as I had ever seen it.  But I wasn't about to resort to disturbing the bottom of the stream just to attract a few more fish.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After corresponding with Bill Edrington of Royal Gorge Anglers (&lt;a href="http://www.royalgorgeanglers.com/" target="_blank"&gt;www.royalgorgeanglers.com&lt;/a&gt;) I found that while not illegal this practice is discouraged a unethical.
